Jam Jar Gin

You know when you have that last little bit of marmalade in the jar? It might be enough for one slice of toast if you stretch it. Or, you can make a simple little cocktail.

Ingredients

To make one drink

  • Marmalade - the last little bit in the jar (or around a teaspoon)

  • 30ml (1 shot) gin

  • Soda to top

  • Ice

Method

  1. Use a knife to loosen the marmalade in the bottom of the jar

  2. Add gin to your marmalade jar, put lid back on on and shake well

  3. Add a good handful of ice

  4. Top with soda

  5. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • Of course, if you don’t have a nearly empty jar of marmalade, put your marmalade and gin into a shaker (or container), shake well to combine. Add ice to tumbler, pour over gin & marmalade then top with soda.
